Spotify - Crunchyroll - Anime Soundtrack Playlist

Audio streaming platform Spotify collaborates with anime streaming service Crunchyroll to launch Anime Hub, which presents playlists of soundtracks for Japanese animated sequence or anime.

According to Spotify’s press launch on Tuesday, platform customers can entry Anime Hub by typing “Anime” in Spotify’s search discipline.

Anime Hub options playlists of anime soundtracks curated by Spotify’s editorial workforce resembling “Anime Now”, “Anime On Replay”, and “Anime Rewind ‘10s”.

Platform customers may also go to the Crunchyroll shelf on Anime Hub to get pleasure from unique playlists of songs curated by Crunchyroll, resembling The Broody Black-Haired MC, The Bubbly Pink-Haired BFF, The Journey Begins and The OP White-Haired Sensei.

Spotify notes that playback of anime background music on its platform globally has elevated by 395 p.c since 2021.

Over 6.7 million anime music playlists have been created by customers on Spotify and LiSA is the artist most added to music playlists adopted by Linked Horizon, 7 Minutoz, Hiroyuki Sawano, and FLOW.

On Spotify, anime music is hottest amongst listeners in Japan, adopted by listeners within the United States, Indonesia, Brazil and Mexico.

The recognition of anime continues to extend. Anime resembling “Attack on Titan”, “Naruto Shippuden”, and “Jujutsu Kaisen” are favorites and have particular music playlists referred to as “Popular Anime Playlists”.

Since 2021, anime background music playback in Indonesia has elevated 178 p.c on the Spotify platform.

“At Spotify, global streaming of anime music has increased rapidly in recent years and we hope that Anime Hub can become an important part of anime culture,” stated Spotify Japan Head of Music Kyota Onishi.
